Cameron Highlands, 24th December 2016 – We had this nebulous but nevertheless exciting idea to witness the sun waking up from our vantage point atop a mountain which had encompassing views of tea plantations as far as the eye could see.
We woke up.
We shivered a bit.
Our party got to somewhere mid-peak of Gunung Brinchang early, along with other hopeful, sleep-deprived folks, but the clouds refused to cooperate by moving away.
So the sunrise was there….somewhere at the back of the clouds…and not in any of the photos we had. Tsk.tsk.
We still had some plantations to visit and teas to tickle, so off we continued our merry way.
